Confidentiality

At APS we understand the requirement for complete confidentiality in all the custom projects that we undertake.  We are happy to enter into agreements with customers to provide the level of confidentiality they require.  APS has standard Confidentiality and Non Disclosure agreements that may be adapted to suit individual requirements.

Scientific Justification

It is a requirement under the Animal (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 to provide justification for the use of Animals for Antibody Production, the Home Office also requires that all proposals go to an Ethical Review panel for assessment.

APS will require a  Justification Application to be completed for each project.  The information required includes a lay summary of the research work in a manner that can be understood by someone from outside the scientific community, the scientific background demonstrating the current knowledge in this area and the gaps in this knowledge that this project is designed to complete together with the objectives and potential benefits of the project.
